Currently I am in MA and I am getting my h1b from different state / different company. When and if my h1b gets approved. Do I have to move to new state / company asap or do I have some grace period.. As far as I know it starts from Oct 1st. ...

H1 b has nothing to do with state. if you r in us u are good ,but if ur not than u will have to get a visa before entering to the us.goodluck
