I have F1 visa valid until 2017 but I had to change college and academic program. I didn't complete the program. So in that case if I need to travel back home and come back, do I need new visa for different I-20? I talked to one immigration lawyer and he told me that I need new visa for new I-20. But my current DSO said that I can travel back and come back on previously issued visa. I assume that my DSO is correct. But I want to make sure before I make plan for travel. What do Sajha people expert on this type of topic think?
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

You can travel using your old visa. But, have your old I-20 and New I-20 while entering US.
