If you are really looking for saving money and trying to reach your beloved on? If that is your goal then I have answer for you.If that is not your goal, but you want let your pals know that you are in STATES, Please discard my suggestion.
Their office time/ morning time is your bed time, pass your phone or cell number to them and best time to call you. All calls are crystal clear , no hassle, no worries for poor connection, no drop calls, you name it and it will be Rs. 1-2 per minutes. What do you think.

His suggestion is solely targeted to Kathmandu valley. If I were you, I will be checking local grocery store specially Indian. 2 dollar card gives 18 minutes outside Kathmandu.
