 @Kiddo... Jailbreaking is stil legal...Only unlocking through third party  is illegal if you happened to buy a phone with carrier subsidy wtih two years contract  after Jan 26 of this year. You can still request unlock code from your carrier . Phones bought prior to Jan26 are fine.
