Helloo Friends,

I am getting married to my gf who is in Nepal. Do we have to be married even to apply for H1b (for me) + H4 (for her) interview at US Embassy or Can we apply and then get married before the interview date? Thanks a lot for the response!!

You have to submit marriage paper which you can get from your VDC.

 You do not need to get married at the time of application but need to have marriage certificate + Pics at the time of interview. That's what I did and worked perfectly fine.  Make sure your interview date is post-marriage date.
